Thanks for checking out our blog! I retired from Corporate America in 2016 and enjoy exploring North America in our Winnebago 2017 FUSE 23T. This blog is a journal of our travel adventures.
Before getting our 2017 FUSE we did a lot of hiking throughout the USA and Europe. We recently hiked Mount Snowdon in Wales. Snowdon is the highest mountain in Wales, at an elevation of 3560 ft above sea level, and the highest point in the British Isles south of the Scottish Highlands.
In 2015 we hiked down into the Grand Canyon. Next year we are planning to hike the Grand Canyon Rim-to-Rim.
We’ve also hiked Humphreys Peak, which is the highest natural point in the U.S. state of Arizona, with an elevation of 12,633 feet and is located within the Kachina Peaks Wilderness in the Coconino National Forest.
We are both RRCA Running Coaches. Marathoners, Cyclists, and Dog Trainers. We have three dogs (Shiz-Tzu, Australian Shepherd, and German Shepherd Dog). All of our dogs have been trained in and compete in Obedience & Scent Work. Both of us are AKC Judges, and AKC CGC Evaluators. I am also a UKC Nosework Judge.
Living Our Dreams
The Winnebago FUSE is the first RV we’ve owned. We now travel and explore this country in our 2017 Winnebago FUSE 23T Motor Home. We do not have a Travel Focus except to see more of this wonderful country. When we travel we look for areas we can hike and take photographs. Boondocking is something that appeals to both of us.
As Part Time RV’ers (for now)
We have a home in the mid-west and travel in our RV several weeks a year. We plan to visit remote areas of Texas and Florida during the winter months.
Thanks again for reading and following our journeys! If you see us on the road, say “hi” and stop in to chat, we would love to meet you! Also you can follow our travels here -> FUSE TRAVELS
